Abergowrie State Forest ride with the Townsville DSMRA lads is always a great ride and this one in early October was no different. Four of us from Cairns DSMRA headed down for the day leaving at 4.30 am for the drive south. Jim, JB, Clarkey and myself. I met Jim and JB for 5 am breakfast in Gordonvale and then met Clarkey further south on the highway. The Townsville lads turned up in good numbers and the spirit was high for the whole day, there are still a lot of trees down from Cyclone Yasi, great pratice for jumping over logs.
