One of the many National Parks we visit on our Cape York motorcycle adventures.
Kutini-Payamu (Iron Range) National Park Cape York (CYPAL) is a remote coastal park in Cape York Peninsula with spectacular views from the beaches and headlands to the heath-covered Tozer Range, which rises 543 m above sea level. The park is also of international significance as it contains the largest remaining area of lowland rainforest in Australia and the park has a number of plants and animals that are not found anywhere else.
Kutini means cassowary and Payamu means rainbow serpent. These are important stories for the Kuuku Ya’u (Kanthanampu and Kungkay) people, the Aboriginal Traditional Owners of this park.
With North Queensland Trail Bike Adventures you can be sure to experience the breathtaking wilderness Kutini-Payamu (Iron Range) National Park Cape York on trail bikes on the super network of great trails with fabulous river crossings of the Wenlock River and Pascoe River.
