Come and enjoy our 1 day Cairns motorcycle tour around the Atherton Tablelands exploring the Kuranda Mowbray National Park with North Queensland Trail Bike Adventures on this One Day Cairns Motorcycle Tour through the Wet Tropics World Heritage listed spectacular rainforest route via the Black Mountain Road which is an extremely scenic track with lots of twists and turns, sometimes slippery and muddy with many beautiful creek crossings which is a trail biker riders haven.
Our 1 day Cairns Motorcycle Tour is ideal for those already on holiday who want to experience adventure on the tracks and trails around Cairns whether you are a seasoned off-roader rider or a complete novice, we cater to any bikers out there who want to get down and dirty! Throughout the day you will ride various types of terrains including mud, gravel, ruts, logs, hills, creek crossings and more. Our one day tours are available all year round.
The Black Mountain Road track begins from the Kennedy Highway near Kuranda to the Mossman Mount Molloy Road near Julatten.
Many Cassowaries have been spotted along the track and should be treated with absolute caution and should not be fed.
We depart from our headquarters, “Tallawah Springs” at 8:30am heading straight out on the dirt and awesome trails to the Black Mountain Road Track then on to the the iconic Mount Molloy Pub for lunch, then more fantastic trails making our way back to “Tallawah Springs” arriving around 4:00pm.
This is a full day’s ride. The trails are varied from fast and flowing fire trails to single track, open forest trails winding through the tropical rainforest and many creek crossings lead by Trail Boss Greg. This tour is available all year round weather permitting.Enjoy a fantastic day on the trails and come back with some great photos and memories and guaranteed to leave us with a huge smile on your face.
All riders must be able to operate a motorcycle and have a current motorcycle licence or learners licence, to take part on our tours. Call us to organise a tour that suits your needs.
All hire bikes are Suzuki DRZ400E current models with electric start. All bikes are modified with bush bash plates, Renthal handlebars, side cover plates, bark busters and the ride suspension is set up for the trail conditions we ride. Our bikes are also fitted with Acerbis long range fuel tanks, so no need to carry fuel in your backpack, a number one cardinal sin for bike riders.

What our tour does not include:
- Personal Hydration back pack with minimum 2 litre bladder. Available for hire.
- Socks
- Personal accident insurance in case of injury
Please Note: There is a $1,600 bond to be paid for the hire bike and motorcycle protective gear/clothing. This will be refunded upon safe return of the hire bike. The cost of any damage will be deducted from the bond.
